Hi I am Sergio Becerra and my relation to helping nature is
that I always wait until I see a trashcan so I can avoid throwing trash to the
ground. The reason I avoid littering is because if I do litter it is not going
to help a street stay clean and if it is dirty it will not help it get cleaner.
I want to form part of this project because it’s something
that’s hands on and physical work and its fun, unlike staying in class doing a
worksheet, also because I like doing projects and outdoor projects in
particular.
In have done construction of things with wood in the past
and I enjoy doing it. I would like to do it, with the whole class, because it’s
pretty cool to work as a team especially on something like a shed which
requires lots of teamwork.
Another reason is that the small shed for the garden won’t
only help our class but will also help the school by keeping the dead grass and
leaves from being all over the blacktop by the classrooms. It is also going to
keep the gardening equipment and bicycle from getting in the way of the
students from our class and other classes.

Sergio Becerra y mi relación con la tierra es que yo siempre me espero para
tirar algo a la basura porque no me gusta tirar basura al piso es porque si
esta el piso sucio y con mucha basura yo tirando mas basura no va a ayudar a
que se ponga un piso sucio a un piso limpio.
Yo quiero
formar parte de este proyecto porque es algo más trabajo en grupos que andar en
un salón haciendo una tarea. También porque a mí me gustan los proyectos de
construcción y proyectos afuera del salón.
Yo he
construido cosas con madera en el pasado y me gustaría hacerlo, y con la clase,
otra vez porque es suave trabajar en un equipo haciendo algo como lo que vamos
hacer.
También
haciendo la casita del jardín va ayudar no solo a nuestro salón si no a toda la
escuela porque ya no va a ver tiradero alrededor del jardín de pasto y de
ramas. Tampoco va a ver bicicletas y herramientas en el salón para que estorben
a los estudiantes de nuestra clase y de las otras clases.
